Gregory (“Greg”) Williamson is a licensed real estate broker at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. He leads Elliman’s Williamson Team which specializes in luxury sales in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Over the past decade under Greg’s leadership, the Williamson Team has sold hundreds of homes throughout New York City. Williamson’s team was a recipient of Elliman’s prestigious Pinnacle Club Award each year from 2014 to 2017 after making over $1 million each year. This award is given to brokers who achieve the highest sales volume in the company. Greg has also personally been recognized as one of the agents with the highest volume of transactions across all of Douglas Elliman. Greg comes from a real estate family – his mother Madeline Williamson was a very accomplished broker who was Elliman’s top broker in Brooklyn Heights from 2005-2007. In addition to his work on behalf of his valued buyers, sellers, & developers, Greg is also a personal real estate investor who invests in real estate in Brooklyn, White Plains, and New Jersey.
When not dedicating himself to his work in real estate, Williamson is also a producer of live music events. He is a co-founder of UpperWest Music Group, which works with musical directors, artists, managers, and artist agents to create world class live benefit and for-profit concerts. Williamson’s shows are planned and executed with meticulous attention to detail. His philosophy is that if the performers have a great time, the audience feels it, and responds positively in turn.
Among the many events Greg & his partner Nicole Rechter have produced since 2014 when they launched UpperWestMusic Group are “Love Rocks NYC,” a fundraising event which has raised millions of dollars to benefit “God’s Love We Deliver,” now in its fourth annual iteration; “Across the Great Divide,” a benefit concert for The Americana Music Association and The Blues Foundation; and “The Tipping Point” to benefit scholarship programs at Tulane University.
In all of his professional pursuits, Greg brings to the table an extremely varied background and the different perspectives that come with it along with his professional expertise. In the past, Greg has worked as a talent agent, a tennis coach, and a teacher at Brooklyn Heights elementary school.
Greg is also extremely active in his community, sitting on the Board of Trustees at both The Churchill School and Center and God’s Love We Deliver.
Williamson grew up in New York City’s Brooklyn Heights neighborhood. Today, Greg lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with his wife Katy Yulman Williamson and their two children. When he is not selling real estate, curating world-class musical events, or enjoying time with his family, Williamson can be found playing tennis, working out, reading or going to live concerts.
